What Kind of furniture do you sell?
At Englishman's castle we sell anything from beds to sofas, dining sets, chairs to occasional furniture and display furniture. Some of our manufacturers also offer a bespoke service, if you cannot find exactly what you are looking for in our showroom.

 

 

 

How long will it be from when I order my furniture to when I receive it?

This depends on the manufacturer as each one has slightly different lead times. Some manufacturers keep certain items in stock so delivery can be much quicker.

 

Sherborne offer Express delivery on some of their lift and rise recliners, which take 12 working days for delivery. For those who require urgent delivery there is a Next Day delivery service available on two of their recliners. Otherwise lead times for our other manufacturers vary from 4-10 weeks.

 

 

Do you charge for delivery?

Charges may apply depending on your location and the amount of furniture you have ordered, as it can take a considerable amount of time to make a delivery. Please check with our sales staff for more information.

 


Do you offer any kind of Sale Discount?

We have two sale promotions every year – Summer Sale and Winter Sale. Dates and discounts vary. Please contact us for further information. We usually have a selection of ex-display furniture on sale at clearance prices. Please check our 'Clearance Items' for current ex-display stock. We pride ourselves on our price policy and will usually match or better prices from other bona fide showrooms.

 


Do you sell leather and fabric furniture?

Yes most of our suppliers offer the option of either leather or fabric.

 

 

 

How do I pay for my furniture?

When a customer places an order we take a third of the overall cost as a deposit. Once the furniture has been delivered to us we will call to arrange delivery, we will then ask to collect the final balance payment.

 


What happens if my furniture is faulty?

We take any customer service issue seriously and we will help to resolve any problems. If furniture is delivered faulty we shall contact the supplier and make sure the furniture is repaired or replaced.


 

Are you able to send me fabric samples?

Of course. Simply contact us and provide us with the fabric information and we shall ask our supplier to send you a sample; alternatively you may borrow any of our fabric books. We offer the same service for soft furnishings.

 

 


I’m worried about access for my furniture, are you able to come and check the access to the house?

Yes for a small charge we can check the access.

 

 


I want to re-furnish a room but I don't know what furniture I require or the sizes, what shall I do?

We can send out one of our sales staff to go through the various options with you and take measurements. From there we can work out what furniture will compliment your room and how it will all fit together. There is a small charge for this service. 

 

 

 

Do you sell Accessories as well as furniture? 
We have a small selection of accessories in our showroom. This stock tends to change on a regular basis, as we only take a few pieces at a time. We also have a selection of mirrors, which are placed around our showroom.
