Ercol's ash and elm ranges are available in a choice of timber finishes and with our upholstery you can chose from over a hundred different fabrics, or we’ll even make your suite using your own fabric. Alternatively you can chose from one of our oak ranges finished simply with a protective clear lacquer, to showcase this beautiful timber. Or how about our Originals range in black matt finish?

A great British company, ercol has invested heavily in UK manufacturing, moving to a state of the art, purpose built new factory in Buckinghamshire in 2002. At Englishmans Castle, we make a point of visiting the factory every year to acclimatise ourselves with ercol's latest manufacturing techniques.

The long service of their workforce provide the skilled craftsmen needed to make ercol furniture. Caring for the environment comes naturally to ercol, with their energy efficient factory with its biomass boiler fuelled by our wood waste, our avoidance of solvent based finishes, in favour of more environmentally friendly water based finishes, and of course in the use of timber from naturally regenerative forests in Europe and America to make our furniture.
