Who are G Plan Upholstery
The name G Plan originates from Ebenezer Gomme, an enterprising furniture maker who established his first factory in 1898. From these humble beginnings G Plan have grown into one of the UK's biggest upholstery manufacturers with sofa collections that provide the highest levels of quality and comfort.

Room size
To ensure your choice of sofa fits perfectly, G Plan's Oakland range offers an alternative to standard size sofa and chair options. G Plan Upholstery have subtly adjusted the height and width to create a compact sofa or chair with the same comfort and support. G Plan's smaller size models are identical in styling, so they can easily be combined with other items in the range. They make a perfect choice for those with a smaller frame, or for a more compact room.
One of the first things you will need to consider before buying a sofa is the size of your living room. You don't want your sofa to overpower your existing furniture and accessories, or to look lost in a larger room.
If you have a small space, you may wish to think about a two seater, or one of our more compact sofa styles such as Turin. How much time to do have to care for your sofa? It's worth considering how often you will need to plump the cushions or treat the leather. For example G Plan's Brazilia range offers exceptional comfort, but it does require more frequent plumping than foam-filled cushions.
